May is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month — a time to recognize the millions of people living with MS and the families, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, and advocates who support them.

Multiple sclerosis is often called ā€œthe disease of a thousand facesā€ because every patient’s experience can be different. That is why awareness must go beyond recognition. It must include education, earlier diagnosis, compassionate care, access to treatment, and continued investment in research.

Supporting people with MS means listening to their needs, reducing stigma, improving workplace and community understanding, and advancing science toward better therapies and, ultimately, a cure.

Together, through education, advocacy, and research, we can help build a future where every person affected by MS receives the care, dignity, and support they deserve.
